The best way would be to control your blood sugar levels and keep them within a more normal range.

There are many ways you can do that like exercise, eating healthy amounts of fruits and vegetables daily, medication, and natural supplements.

Alpha Lipoic Acid and B complex are a few health supplements that will specifically help with the numbness, tingling, and pain from diabetes neuropathy.

Here are some web pages that will give you more information.

Good luck to you.

Diabetic neuropathy occurs due to nerve damage via a couple of molecular pathways. This neuropathy can affect autonomic system, the cranial nerves, and in your case, sensory in your fingers. This damage is reversible to some degree. But the determining factor is.. whether this is a RECENT or CHRONIC condition. Recent (Acute) neuropathy has a better outlook in restoring sensory. The treatment for this would be to strictly control diabetes and sugar levels. There are also certain medications that could be administered to treat diabetic neuropathy. It is best to have consultation with your doctor. Age, physical health, comorbidities are important and must be discussed.
