How true that Omega 3 substance from tuna can cure diabetes?
Diabetes is a a single of a torpedo mildew today.
Suggestions:
It's not true. There is no cure for Diabetes. However, with Type 2 Diabetes ( Adult Onset or Lifestyle Diabetes) if a person loses weight, eats healthy, exercise and, monitoring of blood sugar levels, then they may no longer require oral hypoglycemics ( to lower blood sugar) and/or insulin. Omega 3 fatty acids are helpful with some conditions because it helps the body to build healthy new cells. There are studies that suggest that fish oil is good for heart health, reduction of bad cholesterol and, there is some evidence that it may reduce blood sugar levels but, it does not cure Diabetes. I hope that this helped some. Here's a web: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omega-3_fatty_acid
The first answer is correct and says it perfectly. Omega 3 EFA is known for it's anti-inflammatory and heart protection properties.
In some cases, people with diabetes find that Omega 3 fatty acids seems to lower insulin requirements and/or decrease blood sugar. People with both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes have elevated levels of inflammation.
Omega 3 EFA may both lower insulin resistance and preserve beta cell function, which can benefit both Type 2 and Type 1 diabetes respectively.
Studies have shown that a diet high in Omega 3 can help prevent Type 1 diabetes in children genetically prone to the disease. It is not known exactly how this works. It could be from decreasing inflammation, helping with the "leaky gut" seen in autoimmune disease, preserving beta cell function, etc.
As for Type 2 diabetes, the common kind often related to obesity, Omega 3 seems to help with insulin resistance.
That said, Omega 3 EFA is NOT a "cure" for diabetes, but it may play a role in reducing the risk for both major types of diabetes. It may also help with control.
Either way, due to its anti-inflammatory and heart protection properties, in general, Omega 3 should be part of a diabetic's diet.
Note: Salmon is a much better source of Omega 3.
There is NO cure for diabetes.
Diabetes can be managed and controlled, but there is no cure. Once you have it, you have it.
Believing (and falling for) those claims to be able to cure diabetes could be detrimental to your health and those claims are full of what makes grass grow green.
Even though a substance such as that can reduce medication or insulin requiremets, it is NOT a cure. Please don't be confused with that. It is a treatment. Know the difference.
EMT
type 1, insulin pump
the only cure is to have transplant of pancreas which is rare
