If you have been taking an antibiotic can that mess up your time of the month at all?

I was upon 2 antibiotics for roughly the month to get absolved of the cold as well as an infection we had in my foot.(Diabetic) though right away my duration is late can which outcome this?

    Suggestions:
  1. Depending on your body nearly any kind of medication can have symptoms such as this on the human body.
I would ask my doctor on my next visit, but would not lose any sleep over it.

    Best of Luck,

  2. Antibiotics don’t affect menstrual cycles but infection is a form of stress and can affect serum glucose levels. Diabetes can affect a woman’s reproductive health and influence factors contributing to the regulation of the menstrual cycle. This is largely due to the interaction between the hormones that control menstruation estrogen and progesterone and the insulin hormone, which is closely tied to blood glucose levels that are controlled in women with diabetes.

I suggest that you monitor changes resulting from menstruation the same way you would monitor blood glucose levels. In order to find a correlation between menstruation and diabetes, make a note of the onset of your period in your blood glucose record book, and watch for any emerging patterns between glucose levels and the menstrual cycle over time. If you see a pattern, report this to your doctor.
