I was only wondering if we have been pre diabetic would we uncover symptoms similar to the chairman who is diabetic?

Pre-diabetes does not produce any symptoms at all. I would suggest however that terms such as glucose intolerance, pre-diabetes, and borderline diabetes miss the point entirely. There is an approximately 10 year lead-in time of pathophysiologic damage prior to the glucose being consistently elevated. Thus prompt diagnosis and decisive intervention is essential. Someone with a diagnosis of pre-diabetes most likely has ‘early’ diabetes. Again there are no symptoms associated this early in the disease process.
