what medicine can a diabetic patient over 60 years take for a corn on his foot?

he has had it for twenty years.no plasters can help.can somebody assistance with the medicine

There are 3 suggestions to question “what medicine can a diabetic patient over 60 years take for a corn on his foot?”

  1. I would talk to a doctor or a dermatologist about other options on how to get rid of it. Diabetics stand a chance of lower extremities not healing especially over 60. I would not suggest having it removed. There must be another way. The feet are the most vulnerable to healing problems.

I am a diabetic and suffer from wounds not healing on the lower extremities and I am young. I would be scared to death to have it removed. I do wish this person well who suffers with this problem. I personally would rather suffer with the corn if there is no other way except cutting it out. Good luck.

  2. There is no pill available to help corns. The only thing you can really do after having it this long is to have it cut out.

  3. a Podiatrist is a specialist in foot problems. This patient should be seeing one for this problem as it can make life a bit intolerable with the pressure from shoes on the corn.

Life is great with the numerous specialists we have available to ease our little problems! Foot problems of any type make life most miserable.
