They contend there perplexing to find the cure, as well as we listen to about the probable heal each right away as well as afterwards upon the news. But what is the genuine answer upon since they haven't found the cure. Is it since to most income which is outlayed upon drugs, as well as alloy visits, etc is present around as well as this would harm the manage to buy even some-more if there was the cure. Juvenile Diabetes is the unpleasant mildew which is left to most in silence. Just since haven't they found the cure?
What makes you think they aren't trying? No one has called to offer youa "freebie" yet?
OF COURSE they are trying — but the cure hasn't been found.
The NEWEST attempt uses adult stem cells injected into the pancreas. it HAS worked in mice.
But it is a LONG way from mice to men. MANY experiments must be done, procedures invented and proven safe, and finally YEARS of clinical trials using human subjects.
IF this proves to work on humans, it will be 20-30 YEARS before this cure is avialable to the public.
But they ARE working on it. Research has NOT stopped.
Juvenile Diabtes is a VERY complicated disease, and shares many commonalities with HIVB and psoriasis — both of which are uncured, as well. The current thought is that Juvenile Diabetes is an Autoimmune disease, like HIV, but htis mechansims needs MANY more years of research before it is completely understood. A cure from this source of reasearch is very possible — along wih a cure for AIDS and psoriasis — but it will be a long time coming.
There have been attempts, though generally speaking current methods have been down the route of pumps, which aren't actually resolving anything, just means you don't have to inject yourself as much times as you would usually. Being diabetic type 1 since i was 9 ( 8 years), they said back then that they may be a cure as soon as 5 years, of course like i was i took their word for it
Thing is, half the time its genetic based, so improvements in DNA knowledge and stem cell research etc are required to help any steps forward for a cure to diabetes.
Though, being honest its not all that bad, granted its 4 injections per day (or depending what scheme your on), but i just forget its there sometimes and control it naturally to give myself that free spirit style.
I do believe that Governments should take the cure for Diabetes more seriously to relieve the suffering of people in their countries.
But the manufacturers of Insulin, and other Diabetes Suppliers are in control. They are making so much money that a cure would perhaps, put them out of business.
Some one please help us, now.
There has been lots of progress in the last few years. Look up "Edmonton Protocol" which is a cure, however, you have to take immune suppressing drugs which causes other problems. Now that stem cell research can start, there is a lot of promise there, but that will take years. The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) is funding lots of research, but with no luck finding a cure yet. You can help by participating in JDRF fundraising events as a participant or volunteer! Insulin pump companies are working hard to close the loop between the data on a continuous glucose monitor and the pump to create an "artificial pancreas", there's a lot of progress in that area too. That may be more of a treatment than a cure, but once it happens that'll be great!
There is no conspiracy in keeping diabetes from being cured! If diabetes was cured the drug companies etc would find other ways to make money! There is no cure for multiple sclerosis, neurofibromatosis, cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy, macular degeneration, Alzheimer's disease, rheumatoid arthritis….. modern medicine still has so much to learn.
go to the message board of this research group someone there can help http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/ http://imminst.org/
