Would a ped-egg be helpful for a diabetic?
My father, as well as my boyfriend’s parents mother have been both diabetic. They both have feet trouble, callouses etc as well as we was wondering if giving them both the ped-egg would be protected as well as helpful. It seems similar to it would be reduction expected to harm them afterwards a little alternative products as well as be an easy approach for them to say their feet.

no. Any kind of foot filing can be dangerous to a diabetic, especially if they have nerve damage (can’t feel if they’ve filed too much) or infections (can spread the problem).
try looking for diabetic foot creams (diabetiderm, eucerin), especially any that have antifungal/bacteria properties. Daily application will eventually soften up the callouses, plus helping with blood circulation.
Actually.. I’ve been using ped egg for a while and it really hasn’t helped at all.
I will say however that the cream that comes with it is really nice. It makes your feet (and hands) really really soft.
But.. the ped egg itself? Not as useful as they claim on tv. My feet are really dry so I thought it would help.. but.. no. It hasn’t.
I personally love the ped egg. I’m a diabetic and have used it for the past week. The only caution area I would say is that the person using it has be careful and know when to stop. I did a little bit each day so I know how it feels, and know that I didn’t go to far.
At the same time, if they aren’t quite capable, a podiatrist is always the best choice for a diabetic.
